“Everyone doesn't need to be an entrepreneur, but they need to think like one.”

Cheryl Mayberry McKissack

When you know more, do more. For over a decade, I challenged and motivated young entrepreneurs in the MBA program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business. As a former adjunct professor, I consistently shared my industry insider techniques and selling skills.

In December 2018, I was invited to deliver the keynote address as the speaker for the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Business Executive MBA Program commencement ceremony.

Whether it is a commencement, conference, keynote, executive education or professional learning workshop, I appreciate the opportunity to engage large audiences with relevant information and insights on content built around entrepreneurship, leadership, diversity and inclusion, digital marketing and selling.

Growing up in a family that valued education and keeping trend with the learning community, I’m looking forward to broadening my reach to connect with lifelong learners through seminars and webinars. Topics that I look forward discussing live and online include raising capital, niche markets, how to use research, diversity and inclusion, growth strategies, digital strategies, board excellence, leadership and entrepreneurial selling.

I have been a featured guest speaker at a diverse set of organizations and institutions which include Women’s Business Development Center, Founder’s First, Deluxe Small Business Revolution, DocuSign, National Association of Investment Professionals, The Berkeley Haas School of Business, Northwestern/Kellogg, Crain’s, Willis Tower Watson Cornerstone Program, Northern Trust Dream Maker forum, Private Company Governance Summit, Financial Times Outstanding Director Exchange, Chicago Urban League, PRO2CEO and Prudential: Sustaining Success Summit, National Minority Supplier Development Council, ACG Global and the Women’s Leadership Forum.
