Cheryl has an exemplary record of board service. During her tenure at PrivateBank, she successfully launched the Governance program as Chair and was Vice Chair of the Compensation committee. With more than 20 years of corporate board experience with a special expertise in corporate governance, she currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Deluxe Corporation (Past Chair of the Governance Committee). She was appointed as Non-Executive Chair on the Board of Directors of the Deluxe Corporation (NYSE: DLX), the first female and African American in its 105-year history. She was also past chair of the Governance Committee. In those roles she successfully recruited a more diverse cadre of board members to elevate leadership through multiple perspectives. She has received numerous awards and recognition for her board service including the 2021 FT ODX Outstanding Director Award and the 2021 Savoy Magazine “Most Influential Black Corporate Director” award.
